Carrot Seed

12.19.17- Meredith Liggio

Carrots have always been said to support eye problems, but did you know that during World War II, they were used to help pilots improve their night vision? Today, Young Living has Carrot Seed essential oil that makes it so easy to use. Keep reading to find out other uses for this dynamic little bottle of essential oil.

Carrot Seed is distilled from the seeds and plants of wild carrots. Its health benefits are many as it has properties as an antifungal, carminative (gas), hepatic (cleanses liver), and stomachic.

Historically, carrots were used as a blood cleanser, for liver and skin problems, pulmonary conditions, allergies, inflammation of the intestines, as a tonic for the nervous system, and for eyesight. If it worked for our ancestors, why shouldn’t it work for us.

But the winner is! The most common use for today is WRINKLES! The antioxidants found in the oil help repair the damage done by oxidants (free radicals) and keep them from doing further harm.

Carrot Seed Vitality can be ingested or applied topically to Vita Flex Points or to the area of concern. It has a warm, earthy aroma that blends with citrus oils, Fennel, Frankincense, Geranium, and Bergamot essential oils.
