Sensation Essential Oil has become one of my new favorite oils. The aroma in this blend of Ylang Ylang, Rosewood, and Jasmine Essential Oils is uplifting and refreshing and said to be arousing!   

To learn about this blend, let’s take a look at the individual essential oils that make it up.

Rosewood is steam distilled from wood found in Brazil, not distilled from roses as I originally thought. It is said to create a feeling of peace and gentleness. Common primary uses include acne, eczema, dry skin, vaginal infections, and wrinkles.

Ylang Ylang is steam distilled from flowers picked early in the morning as to maximize the yield. Primary uses are said to help with calming, crying, mental fatigue, relaxing, stress, and tension. It may assist in bringing back feelings of self-love, confidence, joy, and peace.

Jasmine is actually an essence rather than an essential oil because it is an extraction from the flowers picked at night.  The fragrance has been referred as an aphrodisiac and has been treasured for for centuries. Jasmine is very uplifting to the emotions and may produce a feeling of confidence, energy, euphoria, and optimism.

Sensation may help it be effective for dealing with various problems related to the Hormonal System and to Emotional Balance.
