Thieves® Dish Soap03.10.18- Meredith Liggio
When it is time to wash dishes, wouldn’t you rather reach for a soap that is plant-based and made without chemicals, dyes, or synthetics? A soap that has the power of Thieves, Jade Lemon, and Bergamot Essential Oils? And, best of all, it leaves your dishes sparkling clean!
Have you ever heard of Methylisothiazolinon? Neither had I until I started reading about Young Living Thieves Dish Soap. Methylisothiazolinon is a synthetic preservative that is found in many “green” household products, baby wipes, hand cleaners, and other personal products. This preservative is currently causing a number of cases of allergic contact dermatitis, an itchy red rash. That is reason enough for me to stay away from it.
Why take the chance when there is a safe, affordable product at your disposal? Thieves Dish Soap is free from SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), SLES (sodium lauryl ether sulfate), dyes, formaldehyde, phosphates, and synthetic perfumes, and Methylisothiazolinon. The wholesale price of a 12 oz bottle of Thieves Soap is $14. You may find this a little pricey, but hey I put most of my dishes in the dishwasher anyway. I only use the dish soap for pots, wine glasses, wood, etc. It is concentrated and only takes a little.
