Back to School

Today is the first day of school for many. Don’t take a chance with all those germs out there! You can diffuse Thieves®, clean with Thieves®, or even make a hand soap.

Hand Soap

  • 1 foaming soap dispenser
  • 10 drops of Thieves®
  • 1/4 cup Castile Soap
  • 1/2 tsp carrier oil
  • Fill rest with distilled water.

CLEANING SPRAY

  • One tablespoon of witch hazel in an 8-ounce spray bottle
  • 10-15 drops Thieves®
  • Fill rest with distilled water

In the Air

During the spring and summer, I need a little extra help when trees and grasses are pollenating. I mix up even drops of Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint, also known as the Allergy Trio, and take it in a capsule twice a day. If you do not like taking capsules, put it in the diffuser (three drops each).

After Brad, my boyfriend, cuts the grass, we always seem to end up outside grilling. My throat gets itchy and unbearable. I rub Peppermint where my glands are on my neck and the base of my neck. I also tap the thymus, found in the upper part of your chest, with my pointer and index fingers. I learned this from the Ref Guide for Essential Oils app by Abundant Health. If you don’t have it, I suggest you get it!

Allergy Trio Capsule

  • 1 vegetable capsule
  • 3 drops Lavender
  • 3 drops Lemon
  • 3 drops Peppermint
  • Add a few drops of carrier if needed for digestion.

Allergy Trio Diffuser Blend

  • 3 drops Lavender
  • 3 drops Lemon
  • 3 drops Peppermint

Breath Easy

Cleaning a dusty house always gets me coughing. I love the smell of RC because I love Eucalyptus! But when I am coughing, I grab the RC and take a long breath from the bottle.

Also, after long runs, from the heavy breathing, I like to take a long, hot baths with RC in the water. It helps me calm down from an exhausting run as I return my breathing back to normal.

SALT BATH SOAK

  • 1 cup Epsom Salt
  • 2 drops Lavender
  • 2 drops RC™
  • 1 drop PanAway®
